More practical than expected
I picked up the Aether UL Shelter before a windy exposed plateau camp with poor shelter options. Even after repeated use, the balance between protection, mobility, and packability feels properly considered. Some of the technical features may feel excessive for casual or low-commitment trips. This feels like gear made for people who actually go outside.

I mainly bought the Aether UL Shelter because I wanted something reliable for minimal weight. maximum protection above the treeline. I appreciated that nothing about the setup felt distracting once terrain became more consequential. I would rather keep using it than replace it.
